Gather evidence
PLab looks at different kinds of evidence — conceptual understanding, timed performance, retention, and application — not one collapsed score.
Interpret preparation
That evidence is read in context: what is sound, what still needs work, and what that means for the learner’s next move.
Choose the next step
Instead of a content menu, PLab determines the next learning task — for example timed practice when the method is sound but speed still needs work.
Complete the task
The learner works the prescribed step. Completing it is not the same as clearing it — fresh performance evidence decides what follows.
Update and continue
New evidence reshapes preparation. The loop continues: understand, determine, prescribe, practise, reassess.
